Course Objectives:
At completion of the course, participants will be able to demonstrate proficiency according to the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association standards in the areas of:
- Initial Steps in Resuscitation: Thermal Management, Positioning, and suctioning, and Tactile Stimulation
- Anesthesia Resuscitation and use of a Resuscitation Bag and Mask
- Chest Compressions
- Endotracheal Intubation
- Medications
- Special Circumstances
- Written and Skills Tests
